Billink SOLO – Taking Payments by Billink SMS
As well as taking payments directly using the SOLO virtual card terminal you can also send standard Billink payment charges via SMS.
(if you haven’t already created your account go here: Create a SOLO account)
Create a new charge in solo by clicking the +New button on the bottom right of the screen.
Select ‘Send By SMS’
This will open the ‘Step 1’ page where you should enter the patients first name, last name and mobile number. The patients name is needed for receipt and payment tracking. The mobile number is required to send the SMS to.
In the next page add the fee amount, the service provided and who provided the service. Again this is required for receipting and for you to be able to track your payments. Note* you can set default values for these in your settings page.
Click the Next button after you have added the details.
That’s it! Your Billink has now been sent!
Click the Home button to bring you back to the home page where you can track this Billinks progress from ‘sent’ to ‘paid’.
