SOLO – Getting Started

 

Now that you’re set up you can use SOLO for standard SMS pay by link remote payments AND for taking card payments directly using our Virtual Payments Terminal feature.

Taking a Card Payment Directly

From the Homepage Click on the +NEW button on the bottom left of the screen.

You will be shown an option of ‘Send by SMS’ or ‘Virtual Terminal’

Click on ‘Virtual Terminal’

 

Next you will be asked to enter some patient information (this is used for generating receipts and also for you to be able to track payments). *note that for terminals payments the mobile number is optional as we do not send out an SMS.

Enter the patient fist name, last name and click Next

You will now be asked the fee amount, the service provided and who provided the service. Again this is required to charge correctly and also create receipts for the patient. Note* you can set up these defaults in your settings page to save time.

Final step. After you click next we will launch our virtual terminal

Enter the name on the card, the card number, expiry date and CVC number.

Then click ‘Pay Now’. The payment should take about 1-2 seconds to complete.

Once complete you will be shown this success page message.

You can use this page to send a receipt out to the patient. Enter in their email address and click ‘send’. Sending receipts like this is optional.

If you send a receipt you will be shown this message once it has been sent.

Hit the ‘home’ button on the bottom of this page to bring you back to the Billink Home page.

ON returning to the home page you will see that your recent charge will be shown as paid/sent on the main page and your balance will also update.
