Converting a Billink SMS to a Terminal Payment
Sometimes you may need to take payment in the practice for a Billink SMS that has already been sent. We have simplified this process and made it really easy to take payment for the sent Billink SMS with our virtual terminal. This feature is available now for ALL sites even if you do not have access to a physical Billink terminal or if your vendor has not switched on our virtual terminal through your standard payments page (as this is only now rolling out across the systems).
In the transaction page find the Billink SMS transaction that you want to accept payment for.
Click on the right sided ‘three dot’ menu and select the ‘Pay with Terminal’ option.
You will be shown the following confirmation page – click OK to proceed
You’ll now be shown the list of Terminals available in your practice. Select the ‘Virtual Terminal’
Enter the card holder name and card details and click ‘Pay Now’
Payment processing should take about 3 seconds and once complete you will see the following success page
If you’d like to email a receipt to the patient type in their email and click ‘send’.
Your Billink SMS has now been converted and paid as a Terminal transaction. You will see this reflected in the transaction page here with the Terminal Icon shown in the SMS status.
The log of this payment in the ‘View details’ section of the transaction page will show the history of this transaction changing from SMS to Terminal payment
