Introducing a significant enhancement to our transaction page: live status updates for each Billink transaction are now at your fingertips, offering unparalleled real-time insights.

 

Instant Visibility

At a glance, you can now determine if a payment link has been viewed. A simple click on the status icon reveals the timestamp and frequency of views, providing you with immediate feedback on customer engagement.

 

Payment Details

For completed Billink payments, a click-through details the payment time, card type, and the last four digits of the card. For payments made onsite, we’ll even specify the terminal used

 

Refund Records

Refunds are now fully traceable. Clicking on the refund status icon unveils comprehensive details such as the time of the refund, card information, the staff member who processed it, the reason, and whether it was full or partial.

 

Understanding Failed Payment Attempts

Perhaps the most valuable feature is our ability to elucidate failed payment attempts. We now provide reasons for failures, whether due to expired cards, invalid numbers, reports of lost cards, or insufficient funds. The failed icon is your gateway to the transaction logs, giving you a full narrative of the payment journey.

 

Case in Point:

Consider the scenario below – a Billink is sent at 08:26. The patient checks the payment page just over an hour later, and revisits ten minutes after. A subsequent payment attempt fails due to insufficient funds. With our new feature, you’re not just informed of the failure but equipped with the why and when, empowering you to make informed decisions.

 

Empowering Practices

This additional insight is more than just data – it’s a powerful tool for managing outstanding payments. Practices can now differentiate between payments that have been viewed but not attempted, versus those with multiple unsuccessful attempts due to insufficient funds. This clarity enables tailored strategies for following up and securing payments.
